Flee from innovations! The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Whoever performs a deed that is not in accordance with our matter will have it rejected" (Muslim 1718).
Hasan al-Basri - rahimahullah - said: "Qiyaam al-layl is the honour of the believers and it is their power refraining from what normal people do (sleep)."[Ibn Abid-Dunya Fi Tahajjud, p.19]
