Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: On the day of Judgement, fasting will say: " O my Lord I prevented him from food and desires so accept my intercession from him." (Ahmed)
Fasting is not only abstaining from eating and drinking alone but also refraining from idle talk.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: *Fasting in the winter is the cold treasure.”
